The 318 is a neighborhood mainstay. Since 2004, we’ve cultivated a strong and loyal audience for food, music, coffee, craft beer and wine.

With just 60 seats, we’re Minnesota’s premier, intimate live music “listening room”.

The 318 Café is entirely independent and locally owned.

We support the Excelsior community.

Many other local businesses, including MN Breweries, Stickney Hill Farms, Ridgeroll Farms, Dogwood Coffee, La Quercia Farms, Breadsmith, Excelsior Farmers Market vendors, and many more, rely on us on a daily basis.

We're in a 100-year-old building that was once a lumber mill, creating a naturally warm environment rich in character, wood beams, and history. We have the cozy neighborhood vibe you crave, whether it's for a quick latte, a glass of wine and a cheese plate, an MN craft beer, or a show. The 318 Café crew gladly welcomes you with a fireplace for cold winter days, a small patio for summer sun, and plenty of parking!
